Custom Molding
Hardwoods Inc. is now manufacturing custom moldings, radius moldings and architectural millwork from our huge selection of domestic and imported woods. Email us your drawings or custom molding profiles for a quote on your next millwork project.
We are also making and stocking crown moldings in walnut, mahogany, cherry, maple, oak and poplar! Plywood!
White maple cabinet grade plywood with a whole piece face, kiln dried poplar core, thicker cut veneer faces, formaldehyde free, and made in the USA is now in stock at Hardwoods Incorporated!
The quality, white, whole-piece face veneer on these plywoods can be stained and/or clear coated for cabinet making, furniture making, and Architectural Millwork. If you are looking for superior quality paint grade plywood this product fits the bill as well.
This product is manufactured by Columbia Forest Products and made with PureBond®, a soy based adhesive with no added formaldehyde, so you can be assured that you are purchasing the best possible cabinet grade plywood for the cost.
Our domestic white maple plywood prices are as follows:
¼” thick = $55.50 ea.
½” thick = $58.50 ea.
¾” thick = $69.50 ea.

Happy Anniversary!
This month, Hardwoods Inc is celebrating 12 years in Frederick and 7 years in our new facility! Thank you Frederick, and the entire mid Atlantic region, for supporting Hardwoods Inc. Seven years ago we built our 10,000 square foot lumber store, the home of Hardwoods Inc. We couldn’t have done it without you.

New Product Announcement: Wood Veneers & Veneer Softeners!
Wood Veneers
Hardwoods Inc has recently allied with
Sauers & Company to stock their line of
exotic wood veneers, burl veneer flitches, figured wood veneers, inlay borders, domestic wood sheets, edge banding & marquetry inlays. These veneer products have a myriad of uses: the exotic woods, figured woods and four way book matched burl and crotch sets are ideal for furniture making, antique restoration work, jewelry boxes, speaker enclosures, and architectural millwork. Inlay borders may be used as an accent around a table top, bar top, furniture parts, and picture & art glass frames. Domestic wood veneer sheets are great for laminating curved cabinet parts, kitchen cabinet end panels, damaged wood surfaces and furniture and cabinet repairs. Pre glued edge banding is available by the foot or in pre-packaged rolls of 25’or 50’. This edge banding may be used to edge band hardwood plywood cabinet parts, shelving, counter top edges, cabinet door edges, repair work or on any wood surface. Wood Veneer Flattener & Softener
As an additional part of our continuing product expansion, we now have in stock “Veneer Tamer,” a veneer flattening and softening solution. This product is designed to flatten and soften buckled, wrinkled and brittle veneer so that it is ready for seaming, taping and gluing. Veneer tamer comes pre mixed and ready to use right out of the convenient spray bottle eliminating the need to measure and mix various solutions. Veneer tamer is for use on solid wood veneers and is not intended to be used on paper backed or pre glued veneer products. We stock veneer tamer in convenient 16 ounce pump spray bottles at a cost of $14.95 each.
